Saga Dawa
The fourth month of the Tibetan calendar. Saga Dawa Düchen commemorates the Buddha’s birth, awakening and parinirvāṇa.

The fourth month of the Tibetan lunar calendar. The window here is the whole month; Saga Dawa Düchen falls on its full moon.
Why communities differ
Tibetan calendars are computed differently by different traditions — Phugpa and Tsurphu among them — so a date can move by a day, and a day is occasionally doubled or skipped outright.
